Birds, butterflies and flowers

Hello there,

It's the first of the month again, so it's time for a new Pearly Sparkles challenge, over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is "Anything but a Card". We have recently had new bedroom furniture, different to the old, which had left a piece of blank wall. So I decided to make a picture to fill the gap, using paper craft materials. I've made a couple of others for the house so thought I'd give it a go. I hope you like the end result!

I also hope you'll join us over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog this month and share your makes with us.

Card recipe

20" x 16" mahogany and gold frame with a cream mount
Crafter's Companion gold patterned backing card
Maximum Crafts 5 x 7 Easy Frame die
Terracotta card and cream card for the small frames and spots
Pictures from First Edition Botanical Notes and Falling Leaves paper pads

I'd like to enter my project into the following challenges:
Crafts Galore Encore March 2025 #133

I hope you like the picture I've made, fortunately it does look good in my bedroom. Please leave a comment to let me know what you think if you've got time. I do appreciate them and like to read them.

Gnomes in the garden

Hello there,

Welcome to another Challenge over at the Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge Blog.  As always it starts the first Saturday of the month, and as usual it lasts for about a month. I do hope that you'll join us.

The theme of the Challenge, as always, is Fantasy, however as long as it's Fantasy pretty much anything goes. If you're not sure what we mean by that just check out the guidance in the Challenge Rules, and in the side bar on the Challenge blog. We also have a monthly optional theme, this month it's Gnomes. I've made a card using images from a digikit to create a scene. I've not put a sentiment on, I might use it as a new home card should the occasion arise.

Gold, Burgundy, and White card
