Bunny love!

Hello and welcome,

This is my DT card for the Critter Crazy Challenge #113 over at the Critter Crazy Challenge. Challenges start on the 1st of the month and are anything goes. but you must include an animal of some sort as the main focus. This is in the broadest sense of the word and can be furry, feather or insect etc.

The main focus of my card is a Conie Fong image, the Bunny Daffodil digi stamp set, coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. I used the same image a couple of years ago Some bunny is thinking of you

I also used an 8x8 white card blank; Copper, Yellow and some very old Kanban cream embossed cardstock; John Next Door Plain and Stitch Dot Oval, and Square dies, Leaves die from my stash.

Happy anniversary

Hello and welcome,

These are a couple of anniversary cards I've made recently. 

For the gold one I used Tonic's very old Affections die set, which I must say I have used quite a lot.

I made the copper and cream version using mainly John Next Door dies, his Honesty Heart and some of his leaves dies.


I've also recently made an anniversary card featuring cats for the Critter Crazy Design Team

Pearly Sparkles Challenge #120

Hello and welcome to my blog

This is my DT card for the new June challenge over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is This makes me Smile. The main focus of my card is some sentiments from the John Next Door's Amusing Sentiments set. I also made a box for it as it's an easel card and is going to be posted. I used the same items and a picture is at the bottom of this post.

A Perfect Time to Craft Open Challenge June

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Pearly Sparkles Challenge #119

Hello and welcome to my blog

This is my DT card for the new May challenge over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is One or More Butterflies. The main focus of my card is a Crafter's Companion Vintage Lace butterfly die, with some butterfly backing paper from the Hunkydory Peony Dreams paper. Both of these have been in my stash for yonks! I've made the card for one of my niece's birthday. I hope she likes it.

A Perfect Time to Craft Open Challenge May 2026

Pearly Sparkles Challenge #117

Hello and welcome to my blog

It's time for a new challenge over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is to use Mixed Colour Florals. I've used a floral back ground paper from an old Lili of the Valley paper pad I've had in my stash for ages. I picked out 3 flower colours and die cut some flowers.

Critter Crazy Challenge #108

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I'm delighted to have recently joined the Critter Crazy Challenge Design Team. Challenges start on the 1st of the month and are anything goes but you must include an animal of some sort as the main focus. This is in the broadest sense of the word and can be furry, feather or insect etc. 

The main focus of my card is a butterfly made using the John Next Door Large Deco Butterfly Die, and sentiment from the same die set.

Pearly Sparkles Challenge #116 Hearts

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It's time for a new challenge over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is to use Hearts. This is a card I made for a Golden Wedding Anniversary. I used a very old die from the Tonic Affections die set. It's a large with lots of dies and I've used it a lot.  I also created a box for the card using the same products.

Critter Crazy Challenge #107

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I recently joined the Critter Crazy Challenge Design Team. Challenges start on the 1st of the month and are anything goes but you must include an animal of some sort as the main focus. This is in the broadest sense of the word and can be furry, feather or insect etc. 

The main focus of my card is a fabric square with a cat on it, which a friend gave me. I used it to make a card for my sister-in-law who loves cats.

Pearly Sparkles Challenge #115 - Patterned Paper

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It's time for a new Pearly Sparkles challenge, over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is to use Patterned Paper. I've used Core'dinations Teal Flower as the background paper.  I used backing paper from Anne Constantly-Carding's Unicorn Magic kit to make the flowers. I also created a box for the card using the same products.

Pearly Sparkles Challenge 114 December Silver Bells/Use silver

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It's time for a new Pearly Sparkles challenge, over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge BlogThe main focus of my card is a John Next Door die called Sam's Bell. I cut two bells and then cut the frame it comes with to create four corners.

Happy 70th birthday

Hello there,

It's the first of the month again, so it's time for a new Pearly Sparkles challenge, over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is "Black and White plus 1 other colour". I've a friend celebrating a big birthday so wanted to make a special card for her. As she's a Liverpool supporter I decided to add red to the mix, as that's the colour of their strip. I hope you like the card I've made, I've done a couple of variations of this in different colours, including easel cards.
