Birthday cats

Hello there,

while I was unable to do much crafting and lost my mojo I made really good use of this Little Claire Designs stamp.

I had several birthday cards to make for friends and family and fortunately they all like cats, so  having made a couple of cards it was pretty much variations on a theme. I've not done much colouring so it's pretty basic but something I want to work on.

I used different shape toppers cut using dies, different colours, and sometimes a background paper and other times the Tattered Lace Ditzy Dots embossing folder - which almost looks like paw prints!

I thought I'd post a few examples here, hope you like them.

Hello,
this is the Valentine's Day card I've made for my husband this year.

I used a white 8 x 8 card blank matted and layered in red and white card, and also panels. The 4 square panels were cut with the Tonic square dies and embossed with hearts, and I used a Tonic Miniature moments sentiment die in the middle.

He really liked it and I hope you do too.

Back after a long absence

Hello,
It's been a long time since I lasted posted owing to a period of family illness and bereavement. So as you can understand I didn't have the time or motivation to do much by way of crafting. I made a few birthday cards using a Little Claire stamp basically all variations on a theme, and a few Christmas  cards using a Hunkydory kit. I even had to buy my Mom's  birthday card - shock, horror!

I really lost my mojo but by getting back into the card making groups on Facebook and seeing all the fabulous cards there it's starting to come back. I've made my hubby a Valentines card which I'll be posting (now done), and have a couple of birthday cards to do which I'll post so watch this space!
