Happy floral birthday

Hello there,

It's the first of the month again, so it's time for a new Pearly Sparkles challenge, over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is Floral. I've made a birthday card, which which is for a friend of mine. As it was a big birthday I wanted to make it a bit special so I made an easel card and added some flowers. I also made a box for it as it had some dimension to it. I used similar products for the box, plus a Tattered Lace sentiment die.

I also made a similar card for another friend's big birthday, but in apricot, Happy 75th birthday

I do hope you'll join us over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog this month and share your makes with us.

Mythical mermaid

Hello,

Welcome to another Challenge over at the Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge Blog.  As always it starts the first Saturday of the month, and as usual it lasts for about a month. I do hope that you'll join us.

The theme of the Challenge is Fantasy, however as long as it's Fantasy pretty much anything goes. If you're not sure what we mean by that just check out the guidance in the Challenge Rules, and in the side bar on the Challenge blog.

We also now have optional monthly themes and this month it's Mermaids. I decided to use a new mermaid die I bought at a craft show I went to quite recently. The die is a very large one, so I've made a piece of home decor from it and put it in a 10 x 12 inch frame. It's now hanging on the wall in my craft room.

Back in October 2023 I won a prize from LeighSBDesigns for my Magical Fairies card, which I entered into the Creative Inspiration ChallengeI was featured as her Fan Feature Guest for March with that card. For this picture I have used papers from Leigh's Mermaze Digi Paper Pack. I have used Caribbean Depths for the mat behind the mermaid die, and Caribbean Bubbles for the main backing paper I am thrilled to be Leigh's Fan Feature Guest again, for July, on the LeighSBDesigns Inspiration Blog
