Happy birthday unicorn

Hello,

This is a very special post for me as I was asked to be a Guest Designer at A Perfect Time to Craft Challenge blog when I won 2nd prize in their February challenge with my Hearts and flowers from the gnome card. As you can imagine I was absolutely delighted when I won 2nd prize. For my Guest DT card I chose the Unicorn Magic kit by Anne Constantly-Carding, available from craftsUprint. 

It's a very pretty and flexible kit, and comes with backing paper, an insert, various sentiments, and images to create decoupage. As I'm rubbish at fussy cutting I just used the flat image, die cut it and mat and layered it.

Welcome to the fairy house

Hello there,

Welcome to another Challenge over at the Fairy and Unicorn Challenge blog, which as always starts the first Saturday of the month. As usual it lasts for about a month, and I do hope that you'll join us. This month I decided to have a play with stamping and colouring, something I need more practice in! I thought the rather "rough and ready" style of colouring rather suited the image though.

The theme of the Challenge, as always, is Fantasy, however as long as it's Fantasy pretty much anything goes. If you're not sure what we mean by that just check out the guidance in the Challenge Rules, and in the side bar on the Challenge blog.

It's time again for a new Pearly Sparkles challenge, which as always starts on the 1st of the month, over at the Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is Anything but a Card, so you've plenty of scope!
