Live every moment ...

Hello,
this card is a bit out of my comfort zone as it involves stamping and colouring which are not my forte, but I was inspired by a friend's card with really good instructions, so thought I'd give it a go. I was very pleased - and surprised - with how well it turned out!

Card recipe

7 x 7 cream card blank
Black card for mats
Cream card for main layer and sentiment
John Next Door Dotty stencil and Square and Stitch Dot dies
Flower, leaf and sentiments stamps free with magazines
Tea Bag Distress ink for the stencil and edging
Memento black ink for outline stamping and sentiment
Promarkers Leaf Green, Meadow Green, Gold, Tulip Yellow, Lemon
Gold metallic "gems"
Gold Glitter Touch for flower centers

Happy yellow Noel

Hello there,
This card is a rather unusual colour combination for Christmas, yellow, shades of turquoise and black to make it all pop. I find it hard to use these types of colours for Christmas but am quite pleased with this in the end.

Card recipe

8 x 8 white card blank
John Next Door dies: Stitch Dot Squares, Snowflower and Stencil Sentiment
Presscut Star Die single layer
Tonic Snowflakes
Black card for the mats
Yellow card for the two layers
Clarity Indian Summer Designer paper used behind the cut out die and for the snowflakes and flowers
Gold brads

Christmas treats - mulled wine and chocolates

Hello there,
there are lots of treats at Christmas, like mince pies, pudding and cake, but some of the nicest are mulled wine and chocolates. This card shows the latter two.

Card recipe

Basically all I used was an 8 x 8 card blank folded to a Z fold card blank, a Hunkydory kit and Gold mirri card.
I put gold mats on the narrow fold back front and the inside of the card, then cut the A4 sheet to cover them both, and added the verse topper to the inside

This was a very quick and easy card to make, very important at Christmas when you're usually making lots of cards.
