First Groovi parchment cards

Hello there,
I've ventured into uncharted territory and had a go at Groovi parchment work - and they are right it is a bit addictive!

I went to the Creative Crafts show at the NEC with my crafting friend and we did a Make and Take at the Clarity Stamp Groovi stand, the card below is the one I started there. As I was a total newbie to this I was a lot slower at it than the rest so I finished it at home, and am quite pleased with the result especially for a first attempt.

I bought the starter kit at the show and using the instructions which came with it, plus Barbara Grey's YouTube videos I made this card which I have sent to my Mom. She was very pleased with it.

I've already bought more plates so I think this will be something I'll enjoy doing for a long time - it's so relaxing!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day.

Ruby wedding anniversary

Hello,
this is a card I made for a dear friend to celebrate her Ruby Wedding Anniversary, as it was a special one I also made a box for it.

I used various Tonic dies from their Affections collection, a sentiment and an alphabet die of theirs, plus the Amelia embossing folder - this is one I use a lot - and finished it off with a red bow and some pearls.

I've used this die set lots of times for anniversaries and also Mother's Day as it has a sentiment for that too.

Autumn leaves

Hello,
here again with my DT card for the Fairy and Unicorn Challenge for November, which is sponsored this month by digistamps4joy, I've chosen the Leaf Fairy.

What I've used

8 x 8 Anna Marie Designs gold card blank, to reflect the Autumn colours
Anna Marie Designs Dark Copper card stock for the matting and layering
Docrafts Tilly Daydream Autumn leaves paper, which I've had for ages
Leaf Fairy digistamp coloured using: Spectrum Noir FS2, FS3, LG3, LG5, OR1, OR3, GB6, DR5, TN6
Image and mat cut using Sue Wilson Double Pierced Circles die
Leaves and acorns cut from card from Limetree Crafts Continental Coffee, Create and Craft Copper and Ana Marie Designs Harvest Gold using Tonic Autumnal Oak, Fallen Leaves and September Harvest dies
I found the sentiment on the internet and just printed it from my PC.

Backing the leaves and paper piecing the acorns was a bit of a faff but I think the end result was worth it, hope you do too. If you've time to leave a comment that would be great, all are appreciated.

Also if you can please join us at the Fairy and Unicorn Challenge this month, sponsored by digicrafts4joy
