Valentine Fairy

Hello,
Among my new year's resolutions was to make more cards, enter more challenges and post more often. Unfortunately it's not gone very well! This is only my second post - although I have prepared and even made a few cards which I can hopefully post soon.

This is my DT card for the February Fairy and Unicorn Challenge which is sponsored by the fabulous digistamps4joy this month, and has the theme Use Red. I have used the Spring Fairy image, which I coloured using a mix of Promarker and Spectrum Noir pens. I used Promarkers: Black, Leaf Green, Poppy and Cardinal Red. Spectrum Noirs: EB2 (basket); GB1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9 (hair); FS2, 3 and 6 (skin); CR3 (cheeks); IG1, 2 and 3 (wings) plus Powder Blue.

I started with an 8x8 card blank which I matted with red card and then white card which had been embossed using the Tonic Amelia folder and then dusted with red ink. I cut the mage out using Tonic's Art Nouveau die and put it on to a red mat cut using the same die. I finished it off with a red ribbon bow, some die cut red hearts and Tonic's Will's Hand Love sentiment.

I hope you like my card, if you've time to leave a comment that would be great too!
