Blue and silver Christmas popup box

Hello there,
Popup boxes always look impressive but I've only made a couple of them, a floral box and this Christmas box.

I cut the dark blue panels and embossed them using a snowflake embossing folder. All of the snowflakes are cut using dies from the Tonic Festive Flurries strip die, the gingerbread man and trees are from the Tonic Gingerbread House die set, and the sentiment is also a Tonic one.

I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by.

Fushia and teal birthday card

Hello there,
this is a card I made for a Facebook group challenge ages ago but decided to use it as the birthday card for a crafting friend so couldn't post it before. The challenge was to use fushia and teal which were out of my comfort zone.

I used three of the layers from the Tonic Jasmine Sunset layering die set, the Tonic Entwining Trellis Plush Peony flower die, a Tonic butterfly punch and finished it off with some pale teal gems.

Challenges are really good for making you try things you might not otherwise have done, and that's really true with this one.

Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday cats

Hello there,

while I was unable to do much crafting and lost my mojo I made really good use of this Little Claire Designs stamp.

I had several birthday cards to make for friends and family and fortunately they all like cats, so  having made a couple of cards it was pretty much variations on a theme. I've not done much colouring so it's pretty basic but something I want to work on.

I used different shape toppers cut using dies, different colours, and sometimes a background paper and other times the Tattered Lace Ditzy Dots embossing folder - which almost looks like paw prints!

I thought I'd post a few examples here, hope you like them.

Thanks for stopping by.
